Combining her experience with depth psychology and her lifelong love of astrology, Katelyn offers individual and group sessions that support personal growth through the lens of archetypal astrology and/or dream work. What astrology and dreams have in common, is that they both reveal themselves to us through the language of archetypes and symbol. These sessions can be particularly powerful and illuminating because sessions facilitate an understanding of these realms through their own language of symbol vs through a traditional analytical framework.

Astrology sessions are focused on learning about parts of self through the container of archetypes present in your unique birth chart. Through a guided process, you are invited to choose card images to represent what are called the “personal planets;” your sun, moon, rising, mercury, venus, and mars signs. Once the images are chosen, Katelyn will utilize her skills with parts work, depth therapy, and experiential therapy modalities to guide you in an exploration of the symbols present, how you relate to them, and how they interact with one another. This process allows the archetypal parts of you to come alive and for you to deepen your understanding of inner dynamics. Typical astrology readings can be very mental and based on the astrologer being the expert. These readings can feel detached and often folks leave not truly relating to or even recalling what was said. With her training as a psychotherapist, Katelyn offers a creative, collaborative process which places you as the expert on self and allows for the archetypes to reveal themselves in relationship to you. Working in this way can offer an intimate experience of truly understanding and befriending the astrological parts you carry within. All levels of exposure to astrology are welcome. These sessions can be great for newbies to astrology as well as those familiar with astrology who seek new ways of understanding themselves. All you need is curiosity and a willingness to explore!

Dream tending sessions are similar, yet more open in the techniques utilized. We may use sand tray figures, card imagery, art making, movement, free writing, active imagination, and/or psychodrama techniques to bring dream symbols alive in the room. Tending to dreams allows us to open up and get to know your unconscious world in a way that is more creative and organic than traditional, linear dream interpretation techniques. It allows the symbolic realm of dreams to be amplified and experienced in an embodied and vibrant way.

Astrology sessions: $220 for initial 75-90 minute session. $180 for 60 minute return sessions.

Dream tending sessions: $180 for 60 minute session.
